Bad weather ends summer swimming

Swimming lessons will unfortunately end earlier than expected after bad weather damaged our temporary pool covering.

High winds and heavy rain on Tuesday caused issues with the canopy over the facility, with the decision taken to remove the pool to ensure safety is not compromised.

Headteacher Adrienne Smith says it’s a disappointment for all involved:

“We know how important it is to give children the opportunity to learn to swim in a safe environment, and how much they enjoy using the pool during lessons. It is unfortunate it has had to be closed, but we will make the best of the situation.”
